EQUIPMENT HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS SUMMARY


  • The Hirer who completed the ID check is responsible for taking delivery, pick up and for the functioning, clean, timely return of the equipment.
  • The Hirer is responsible for ordering equipment that is fit for the purpose required and compatible with other devices intended for use.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on acceptance of order. Final payment is required 14 days prior to delivery or on delivery.
  • Bond – Security deposit of $200.00 or credit card details (in lieu of bond) will be requested of the hirer before the release of equipment and will be used to cover incidents such as (but not limited to):
  • Late return of hire.
  • Equipment returned unclean or in incorrect transporting tubs.
  • Additional servicing/cleaning charges.

       This security deposit does not cover damage or loss of equipment.

  • There are no refunds for cancelled bookings 14 days before delivery or pick up.
  • There may be additional charges for; freight, installation, dismantling, packing and pickup, public holiday surcharge, change to equipment hire, change to location pickup or delivery instructions, cleaning of items returned in an unclean state, leads and cables not rolled packed and stacked as per delivery, site service calls, missing or damaged items.
  • Any changes to the initial order must be done so in writing or by email. Acknowledgment of this change must be received.
  • Hirer must ensure the site is accessible and safe for delivery and installation. This includes removing obstacles, providing level ground, and supplying appropriate weather safety measures to protect the equipment.
  • The owner’s trade name and logo may appear on equipment, which is not be concealed or obliterated.
  • The hirer must not alter, try to repair, or remove any equipment from the site, nor use contrarily to instructions supplied.
  • The hirer must not sub-contract the equipment
  • The hirer must compensate the owner for any lost, damaged or stolen equipment while in their care or damages as a direct result of the actions of event attendees.
  • Hirer has read and agrees with the full Vibes AV&DJ Terms and Conditions supplied with their order.

Damages and Replacements


If you damage or misplace items, replacing them yourself will not suffice. We buy quality products to ensure the longevity of our equipment; therefore, the following replacement AND damages fees are in place for all dry hires.

If the equipment you hire is returned damaged, we will investigate whether the damages were a direct result of mistreatment whilst in your care, or if it is from wear and tear, then proceed accordingly.
